WE AI in Evaluation User Group
Led by the Washington Evaluators, October 24th, 12:00pm - 1:00pm ET
Join Us for the NEW WE AI in Evaluation Interest Group Meeting!
Session Topic: Using AI to Understand and Measure Outcomes
We invite WE and AEA members to be part of this group—a new and growing learning community created for evaluators and non-evaluators alike who are responsible for assessing programs or initiatives and are curious about how artificial intelligence (AI) can support their work.
Join us for a discussion about Using Causal AI to Understand and Measure Outcomes with Jay Delaune.

Traditional AI might mistakenly think ice cream sales cause sunburns. Causal AI pinpoints core causes, such as hot weather prompting outdoor dining. Answering "why" and "what if" questions makes Causal AI a powerful tool to aid decision-making and problem-solving.
During this session, WE AI User Group participants will explore the following questions and more:
If you have time, check out this 16-minute video clip about Judea Pearl’s “The Book of Why” as a primer.
