Designing Organization-Wide Results Frameworks
Hosted by the Washington Evaluators and co-sponsored by the American Evaluation Association Leadership and Organizational Performance TIG, August 17, 1:00-2:00pm EDT
Assessing the implementation of programs is the foundation of the work of internal evaluators. We need to be constantly alert to what is happening with the programs we manage: to see trends as they are emerging, detect problems, find opportunities to improve, and use feedback loops to strengthen the implementation of the programs.
Creating an organization-wide results framework helps us shine a light on our programs by monitoring program implementation through valid, standardized measures in as close to real time as possible, then using the results of those measures to improve programs and operations. In their presentations, JC Kollmorgen, Peter Weinberger, and Natalie Donahue will present the perspectives of both a government agency and implementing partner of the benefits and challenges of creating a results framework for an organization, and how this has been done successfully.
