Deep Dive into Data Visualizations
Led by the Washington Evaluators, April 22, 12:00-1:00pm
We all want to create engaging data viz storytelling like Hans Rosling (200 countries, 200 years in 4 Minutes) so let’s learn more about this critical skill. Join your colleagues for a deep dive into data visualization where we will discuss the principles of data visualization, share what you learned and can put into practice, and gather some more resources on improving your data viz skills.
Many of the great data viz experts have written wonderful, publicly-available blogs that provide quick insights into better data viz practice alongside their books. Before the “Lunch & Learn” session, visit any of the websites listed below and choose some of the blog posts from these leading experts. You will also find their books listed after the website. Come with points that resonated with or surprised you and be ready to learn from others through a discussion facilitated by WE Program Coordinator, Kelly Feltault, PhD.
