Get your AEA conference week off to a great start by having an informal pay-as-you-go dinner with Gail Barrington! Gail will be in town to lead two workshops at the AEA Conference entitled "Getting Started: Introductory Consulting Skills for Evaluators" on Tuesday, October 15 (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM), and "Staying Power: Intermediate Consulting Skills for Evaluators" on Wednesday, October 16 (8:00 AM to 3:00 PM). She will also lead a think tank of independent consultants on "Managing Client Communications: Developing New Strategies by Learning From Failed Relationships."

Gail writes the well-received “Ask Gail” column for the Washington Evaluators and is the principal of the much-respected Gail Barrington Group, Inc. Gail’s recent book, Consulting Start-up and Management: A Guide for Evaluators and Applied Researchers (SAGE 2012) has been described as “a treasure” by a recent review in the America Journal of Evaluation (34:132).
