Session Topic: Navigating the Nonprofit Software Spectrum: AI’s Impact on Custom Software

Event Description:  The traditional choice between purchasing off-the-shelf software and developing custom solutions has been fundamentally reshaped by artificial intelligence. This session explores the historical context of software procurement and presents a real-world case study of an organization navigating this new terrain. Join Chris Hall for an interactive look at how AI-driven tools are changing the cost-benefit analysis of nonprofit technology, and gain a practical framework to help your organization determine the most sustainable path forward.

Please join us for our next session led by Chris Hall. More specific topic details coming soon!

Presenter: Chris Hall is a data analytics and AI leader who specializes in translating “tech speak” into plain English. He’s spent his career helping teams use data, automation, and AI to solve real problems - without needing a computer science degree or a tolerance for buzzwords. Chris is also the co-founder of Halliday, where he works with small businesses to explore practical, responsible ways to put AI to work. He’s passionate about helping newcomers realize that AI is not magic and is something they can start using today.
