Part 2: Scaling Social Impact with Artificial Intelligence & Stage-Based Metrics

Led by the Washington Evaluators, March 27th, 12:00pm-1:00pm ET

Event Description:

Scaling Social Impact (Part 2) — The AI-Focus Group Laboratory

The conversation was so robust, we’re coming back for a live technical demonstration!

Our first session sparked a high-level dialogue that challenged the status quo of social impact measurement. The discussion with federal and evaluation leaders was so engaging that we intentionally paused our technical demonstration to prioritize the vital expertise and recommendations shared by our attendees. This "cliffhanger" has set the stage for an exclusive, hands-on deep dive into how Humanistic Care LLC iteratively uses Artificial Intelligence alongside Community Focus Groups to finalize stages of progression. This process ensures that your metrics aren't just top-down requirements, but are culturally responsive and rooted in the actual lived experiences of marginalized communities.

In this high-energy, hands-on session, you will:

  • Enter the "AI Loop": Participate in a live, real-time demonstration of how AI synthesizes raw, qualitative focus group insights into finalized stages of the POSLM.

  • Design for Equity: See exactly how to use AI as a strategic partner to ensure that the "Stages of Progression" reflect the real-world challenges and "whys" identified by the community, rather than standardized assumptions.

  • Bridge Lived Experience & Technical Rigor: Learn how to transform personal narratives into a 5-stage scale that tracks a participant's journey from baseline to impact.

Note to Attendees: To ensure we maximize our time in the "AI Laboratory," we will not be re-covering the foundational concepts of the POSLM. It is highly recommended that all participants—whether you attended Part 1 or are joining us for the first time—view the recording of the first session to ground yourself in the methodology before we begin this technical demonstration.

Our presenter, Quisha, is truly excited to continue this journey with you as she works to master the tools needed to build what could hopefully be the nation’s first human-centered social impact currency. We look forward to seeing you there!

Presenter: Quisha M. Brown is the Author of Scaling Social Impact With Artificial Intelligence & Stage-Based Metrics and the founder of Humanistic Care, LLC. With over 25 years of experience supporting marginalized communities through work with various nonprofit institutions and the Department of Health & Human Services, she has dedicated her career to transforming how agencies measure success.
