Discussion Topic:
We are pleased to invite Dr. Lisa H. Fuller, a highly experienced psychiatrist providing services to marginalized populations, as our guest speaker for this enlightening session. This discussion will be invaluable for evaluators aiming to create more inclusive and effective evaluation models. Additionally, Leigh Rauk, PhD from University of Michigan-Ann Arbor School of Social Work Program Evaluation Group will join us to provide expert insights on integrating the perspectives of marginalized communities into mental health evaluation practices.

Speaker:
Dr. Lisa H. Fuller is the CEO and CMO of Discern Life Consultants Health and the Founder and Overseer of Lisa H. Fuller Ministries. She serves as Senior Pastor for Christ’s Arms Reaching Everywhere Ministries. Dr. Fuller has provided mental health training and led mission teams globally, focusing on crisis and trauma, leadership development, and spirituality. Recognized for Outstanding Leadership in Global Missions and Distinguished Servanthood, she has over 30 years of psychiatric practice across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and West Virginia. An Assistant Professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine, Dr. Fuller has trained psychiatric residents and has been a featured speaker for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Bulgaria Ecumenical Theological Seminary. She hosts "A Word of Encouragement" radio broadcast and has authored several inspirational books available on Amazon.

Dr. Leigh Rauk is an Assistant Research Scientist with the Program Evaluation Group (PEG) at the University of Michigan School of Social Work. She specializes in participatory, collaborative, and utilization-focused approaches to evaluation with an extensive background in community-based research and evaluation. She received her Ph.D. in Community Well-Being from the University of Miami and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Michigan Institute for Firearm Injury Prevention where her research focused on the intersections of school safety and firearm violence. Her work has spanned a variety of social change topic areas including mental and behavioral health, school safety, firearm injury prevention, youth development, equity in the arts, non-profit organizational development, and climate justice. She has strong experience building partnerships with nonprofit service organizations, designing and leading mixed-methods evaluation studies, logic modeling and theory of change development, and facilitating organizational learning and evaluation capacity building.
