Evaluation Capacity Building: Breaking Orthodoxies and Inequities

April 28, 2023 9:00am - 4:00pm ET

The DC Consortium Student Conference on Evaluation and Policy (DCSCEP) invites you to the fifth annual conference, themed “Evaluation Capacity Building: Breaking Orthodoxies and Inequities”. There is no fee to attend. The event will begin with a keynote address from Professor Rodney K. Hopson and will also feature a panel of field experts who will discuss their work, vision for the field, and how we can challenge orthodoxies in evaluation.

The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) will have American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting Services on standby at the conference and will be available upon request. To request interpreting services for a specific event please contact GAOTranslationSvcs@gao.gov. For more information about Reasonable Accommodations, contact the Reasonable Accommodations Team at ReasonableAccommodations@gao.gov.

Our goal is to provide graduate and other post-secondary students interested in evaluation and policy with an opportunity to present original research and network with professionals and faculty in those fields. We are excited to host poster sessions and presentations where students enrolled in DC area colleges and universities will have the opportunity to showcase their work.

The DCSCEP Organizing Committee welcomes participants to the conference and looks forward to learning with you and from you during the event!
