Please join Washington Evaluators online for a Deep Dive with Ghazia Aslam: Building Evaluative Thinking Throughout the COVID-19 Response, August 12, 2020, at 12:30pm.

COVID-19 is disrupting lives and programs around the world.  Funders and program implementers will need to understand how well their COVID-related strategic and programmatic pivots have been effective in meeting the needs of their stakeholders and beneficiaries. She will discuss some ways funders or program implementers could build evaluative thinking to capture data on the effects of  COVID-related pivots, learn from this data and make course corrections as needed and inform future programing activities. Attendees are asked to read this document in advance of the event.

Ghazia Aslam is EnCompass’ Senior Evaluation Specialist, where she is leading evaluations of domestic and international governance projects. She has extensive experience in conducting and managing qualitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods evaluations and field research studies. She has also provided technical and advisory assistance in the design and operation of development programs in conflict and violence, local governance, and citizen engagement.

This members-only online event is limited to 60 people; Members are able to register a guest. Please register by August 10 to confirm. Directions to connect online will be provided to registered participants a few days in advance of the event.
