Last year the U.S. Commission on Evidence-Based Policymaking was charged by the President and Congress to develop a strategy for improving how evidence is generated about government policies and programs. The bipartisan Commission submitted its final report with findings and recommendations in September 2017. This discussion forum will present an opportunity for members of the professions most affected by the Commission’s recommendations to discuss how professional societies and other non-governmental organizations can embrace the momentum of the Commission’s recommendations to improve evidence building in the United States.
Ron Haskins, Co-Chair of the Commission on Evidence-Based Policymaking
Bob Groves, Member of the Commission on Evidence-Based Policymaking
George Grob, Chair of AEA's Evaluation Policy Task Force
